Dimensional Letters and Logos Dimensional letters and logos are custom manufactured to your specification. Assembly and mounting accessories are available. Our standard inventory includes a wide variety of metal laminates, high pressure laminates, GatorFoam®, and expanded PVC (Formica, Pionite, Neramar, WilsonArt) in several thicknesses and colors. Material Options GatorFoam® Fiberboard laminated to polystyrene. Assembled GatorFoam logos add presence in retail locations. It is lightweight and suitable for interior applications. It can be used plain or finished with metal or high pressure laminates. Thicknesses: 1/2", 3/4", and 1-1/2". Colors: black, white.
Sign-foam® High density polyurethane. Sign-foam has a high strength-to-weight ratio, and is chemically resistant. It is excellent for carved and prismatic letters and plaques. It is suitable for exterior as well as interior applications. Sign-foam can be painted or finished with metal or high pressure laminates. Thicknesses: 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2" and 2".
Acrylic. Thermal plastic resin. Acrylic is hard, durable and color-saturated. Its surface has a smooth, polished finish. Use acrylic alone, with metal or high pressure laminates, or vinyl finish. Stock thicknesses: 1/8" all colors. Clear, black and white are also stocked in 1/4" and 1/2". Colors: clear, black, white, brown, ivory, red, green, and blue.
Sintra® Expanded PVC. Sintra is light weight, color-saturated, and durable. Its surface has a hard matte finish. Use Sintra alone or with any standard laminate or finish. It can also be painted. Thicknesses: all colors listed are available in 3mm and 6mm. Colors: white (also in 10mm, 13mm, 19mm), black (also in 13mm), light gray, gray, beige, yellow, purple, dark red, dark blue, blue, green, and teal.
Aluminum
Fabricated Aluminum. Fabricated Aluminum letters and logos have precision routed faces with heli-arc welded returns and smooth sanded seams. Standard face material is .090 aluminum and standard return material is .063 aluminum. Most satin or brushed metal finishes are available, or characters can be painted to specification. Mounting hardware and patterns are supplied when specified.
Cut-out Aluminum. Cut-out Aluminum letters and logos are mechanically routed from flat metal stock. Most satin and brushed metal finishes are available or characters can be painted to specification. Mounting hardware and patterns are supplied when specified. Thicknesses: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
Laminates
Metal laminates. .020 Aluminum anodized to simulate metal finishes. Metal laminated letters add elegance to any message. Laminated metal in two finishes assembled together create an elegant look for corporate lobbies and displays. Stock finishes: polished gold, polished brass, polished aluminum, polished chrome, polished copper, brushed gold, brushed light brass, brushed aluminum, satin aluminum, smoked aluminum. Choose additional finishes from Chemetal, Formica, or WilsonArt.
High pressure laminates. High pressure laminated letters and backers can be created in endless combinations. Stock colors: black, slate, gray, red, orange, teal, royal blue, French blue, yellow, green, blue pavia, gray spektrum, rose granite, smoke granite. Choose additional colors and patterns from Formica, WilsonArt, or Pionite.
Special Finishes Special finishes available include "domed" letters and metal forged paint. Luster-Glaze. High-gloss, clear finish that adds a rich ceramic look to whatever it covers. Works best when applied to flat surfaces. Add glitter or sparkles for a festive look.
Forged-Metallic. Four specialized paint finishes that provide a hammered metallic look to all printable surfaces. Works best when applied to flat surfaces. Colors: blue/gray, lead/gray, deep green, deep gold.
